Sister Isabella Tracy -- Hungary Budapest Mission April 2024 - November 2025

  Hi everyone!!    This week was jammed packed! We went to budapest for pday & mission conference it was so fun! We got to carol in front of the parliament building and that was so fun! Every year my family carols on Christmas Eve so it was fun to gave a little piece of home! Mission conference was so good! I put a little small group together and we sang O Holy Night! Literally sounded so good! It was amazing to be with all my friends in Budapest! The Walls got us mission hoodies! And they always surprised us and had our email write is notes, and I had SO MANY! Shoutout to my family for remembering me and writing me sweet words of encouragement!  We had a really good finding opportunity! Telles and I were streeting and we met these nice women! They had a table and they were giving out books about jesus, and the bible! We talked with them and figured out they were 7th day adventists!   Hi everyone!  We are currently on a train and someone is snoring so loud and I'm going just a little crazy! We are going to Budapest for P-day! Mission Conference is tomorrow so our P-day was changed to Wednesday so that we could all go to Budapest! WE GET TO STAY IN HOTELS -- I'M SO EXCITED!!  I'm excited to see all my mission friends and be with everyone before Christmas!  This was good! First week in Nyíregyháza! We taught a few of our friends and found some on the street! Leaving Pécs was so sad! And leaving Sister Mehrley was SADDER! SISTER MERHRLEY -- I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! The branch had a Christmas party and it was so fun! We watched Olaf's Adventure, in Hungarian of course, and then ate lots of food! I made lots of cookies! I have never felt so welcomed and loved than I do by the Nyíregyháza branch members. They are SO kind and it just feels like I've know them forever! This week was special week! Our friend Judit got baptized! It was the sweetest baptism ever! She was just smiling the whole time! There's no baptismal fount in Pécs so we had to go the pool! When we walked in the chlorine hit me like a brick! Brought me back to my lifeguarding days. There was a waterpolo game going on behind the baptism so it was very loud! We definitely got some confused looks, but this will definitely go down in history as my favorite baptism I've ever been too!  Transfer calls were Saturday and I will be leaving Pécs. I'm going to be whitewashing for the 3RD TRANSFER IN A ROW in Nyíregyháza! I'm actually really excited! I'll be going there with Sister Telles!  The last Sunday before leaving a city is the worst. It's so crazy that I'm already leaving Pécs. We said bye to everyone and it literally was so sad.   Hi everyone! This email is what we did last week and this week!  This week was good! It went by fast!  Pécs is so good! We had some good members visits! We took the bus and train a few times! I love it here!!  I fell down the stairs the other day and then up the next day. STAIRS ARE THE WORST BRO!@ I keep falling everyday Stake conference was this weekend! Mehrley and I rode the train up to budapest, got lunch and headed over to the church! It was fun seeing all my other missionary friends! Sunday night we got to stay in an old senior couples apartment and it was SO FUN! Sunday session of stake conference was good too! I GOT TO SEE ALL OF MY PEOPLE FROM KISPEST!! I said bye to Orsi and Rebekah! They are going on missions and I won't see then before they leave!  the members here in Hungary are some of the best I have ever met. Hi everyone!  I am in Pécs!! Mehrley and I had a little struggle with getting all of our bags here but thank goodness for nice Elders who helped us!! Literal life-savers! Its crazy that we just white-washed Kispest, and now are pink-washing Pécs! Literally wild! Pécs is beautiful! It's fun to walk around and look at all the pretty buildings!  We had 3 members meals this last week! It was fun to start getting to know everyone! I HAVE NEVER EATEN SO GOOD!! Hungarian food is actually so good!  Mehrley and I got offered cigarettes 2 times in like 10 minutes! I have now been offered a cigarette in all of my areas!!  On Halloween mehrley and I were saying "Happy Halloween" to everyone and it for real was so funny! Halloween just isn't the same here as it is in America!! We went to spar and bought a candy bar so we could have something like an American halloween!  Church went well yesterday!   Hi everyone!!  This last week was literally bonkers!!  Tranfser calls were Saturday and the news is that Mehrley and I are moving to Pécs together! The Pécs elders and us are just switching. I was actually shocked when we got our transfers calls because I was sure we were both staying in kispest! You literally can never assume anything!  We visited lots of members this week! We went to the Cukrászda with Madgi Néni and that was fun! She gave us two things of cologne! It's cute that she thought to give us something! We gave her pictures of the temple and she started to tear up. It was SO sweet!  I'm so proud of my English class!
