NOVEMBER 10, 2025 -- WEEK 81: CLOSING TIMES

Image
Dear friends and family, welcome to my last email! My last week in Hungary was spent with some of my favorite people. We ate good Hungarian food, and reminisced on good memories.  President Wall and his wife came down to Kaposvár and took us out to lunch because we memorized all the scriptures! It was fun to be with them one last time and talk about funny things from the mission.  We went to Pécs for an exchange, my last one ever! I spent the day with Sister Pinson! I love her so much. We streeted and found some people! God is good!  Serving a mission is the best decision I have ever made. The Lord has blessed me and changed me over these past 18 months. I'm so thankful I was able to be here. I love Hungary. The Hungarians are the sweetest people I have ever met. They are so giving, and always putting others first before themself. I will miss them.  I've shared this before in an email about a year ago, but its fitting.  It may not be on the mountain he...

NOVEMBER 3, 2025 -- WEEK 80: A TIME TO GROW

Image
Hi everyone!  This is the last full week of my mission! I can't believe it. I've always understood when things are bitter sweet, but wow, this is so bittersweet. In Hungarian, they say one eye is crying while the other is rejoicing, and that's so true.  We had a good week! We knocked a lot of houses, streeted, had English class, all the usuals. This week was especially joyful. We met so many wonderful people out on the streets. We even had one of our referrals pull up to church yesterday! The work is working in Kaposvár.  On November 1st, there was a holiday called All Saints Day. Everyone goes to the cemetery to put candles and flowers on their loved ones graves. Sister Tab and I went for a walk through the cemetery and it was such a special experience. It was so beautiful seeing all of these people going to remember their families. It made me think so much about God and how families are such an important part in His plan. It was so somber. I'll never forget it.  Th...

Hi sweet friends We had a crazy week!! We went to my very last Zone Conference. We got to spend the night in Buda with one of my old comps, Sister Smith! The morning of, I also had my very last interview with Pres. which lowkey, was so sad. Anyways, the day was so happy though! I saw five of my old comps and lots of sweet friends. I love getting together with all of the other missionaries, it really is so special to see each other. It was so sad to say goodbye to everyone. It's crazy because I will never be here in Hungary with these same people ever again. Very bittersweet. I felt very loved.  English class is popping off here! We have AWESOME people coming! It's so sweet because we teach them English, and they teach us Hungarian! It's always a joy to have English class.  At Zone Conference, President gave us all a paper with 100 doctrinal mastery scriptures and challenged us to memorize them all. Sister Tab and I spent ALL day Thursday memorizing like crazy! We had to mak...

Hi everyone!  Last week was good! A little slow. I got some sad news from home. All was well.  We had our first English class and it went well! We had two people come!  Things are progressing here. We are teaching three people! God is helping us find and teach. We see miracles everyday.  God is real. His Son is Jesus Christ. Through Jesus, we can return back to our Heavenly Father.  Email me!  I’m thankful for y'all and hope you had a good week!  Tracy

OCTOBER 13 — WEEK 77: csodák

Hi everyone!! I hope everyone had a beautiful week!! The weeks always seem to come and go so quickly around here.  Sunday was so good yesterday! Tab and I both spoke in church, and we taught Sunday school! It all went well, I was very satisfied.  We went to an escape room today for p-day and it was actually so fun!! We made it out with 3 minutes left. The lady who was working was helping us so much! It was fun to be together and try to figure out riddles and stuff in hungarian!  We went to Budapest for MLC, and then we filmed an ad! I kept messing up! LOL! all was well and I was able to say the whole script and not mess up! Very good!  We had a few lessons this week, and they were so spiritual. Im so thankful for the opportunity in have to teach about God and Jesus. I can't believe its almost over. I’m making the most of everyday.  And now, O all ye that have imagined up unto yourselves a god who can do no miracles, I would ask of you, have all these things pass...

SEPTEMBER 29, 2025 — WEEK 75

Hi everyone!  This week was just normal lowkey. We had an English Class Information Night, talked with a million people on the street, made lots of calls, and taught some lessons. We got to go back to Dunaújváros for an exchange. It was crazy to go back even though I only served there for about 2 weeks.  Time has been flying. It seems like it’s always Sunday. Im trying to make the most of the time that I have left. This week we got transfer news and I’m staying in Kaposvár with Sister Tab for my last transfer! Literally crazy that this is the last one.  Our Savior’s love is infinite. He died for us, so that we could return to our Heavenly Father. Taking the sacrament has become so significant to me over the course of my mission. It used to be so routine, and didn’t mean much to me, but as I have studied the gospel, and learned more about my Savior, it has become such a holy time. The spirit is so strong when we gather together, especially when we sing. I love singi...

SEPTEMBER 22, 2025 -- WEEK 74: WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD

Image
Hi everyone!  We had a beautiful week! We had an exchange with the Dunaújváros sisters, and went to Budapest for a nation wide Women's Conference! It was so awesome! I got to see all the women from all of the cities I have served in! It was sweet to see the people from Szombathely. I served in Szombathely when I was a greenie (brand new missionary). I didn't understand Hungarian back then. Talking with the women and understanding them was such a fulfilling moment. It was so full circle. I have grown so much as I have been here in Hungary, and I am so thankful for everyone who has loved me and treated me as their own. I love the Hungarians.  Today marks my 17th month of missionary service! This is the best decision I have ever made in my life. I love being a missionary. Nothing has brought me more joy ever.  Sister Tab and I have been memorizing scriptures like crazy! When we are walking, we are memorizing; and when we aren't streeting someone, we are memorizing. This...
