NOVEMBER 10, 2025 -- WEEK 81: CLOSING TIMES
Dear friends and family, welcome to my last email!
My last week in Hungary was spent with some of my favorite people. We ate good Hungarian food, and reminisced on good memories.
President Wall and his wife came down to Kaposvár and took us out to lunch because we memorized all the scriptures! It was fun to be with them one last time and talk about funny things from the mission.
We went to Pécs for an exchange, my last one ever! I spent the day with Sister Pinson! I love her so much. We streeted and found some people! God is good!
Serving a mission is the best decision I have ever made. The Lord has blessed me and changed me over these past 18 months. I'm so thankful I was able to be here. I love Hungary. The Hungarians are the sweetest people I have ever met. They are so giving, and always putting others first before themself. I will miss them.
I've shared this before in an email about a year ago, but its fitting.
It may not be on the mountain height
Or over the stormy sea,
It may not be at the battle’s front
My Lord will have need of me.
But if, by a still, small voice he calls
To paths that I do not know,
I’ll answer, dear Lord, with my hand in thine:
I’ll go where you want me to go
I went where He wanted me to go. I know God knew what He was doing when He sent me to the beautiful land of Hungary. My Lord had need of me here. I have spent more than 500 short days here, trying to share the good news. He called, and I answered.
I know my Savior lives, and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Jesus Christ's Church. The Book of Mormon is the word of God! Joseph Smith was a Prophet. Through him, truth has been restored to the earth. One thing I have learned from my mission is that God has a plan for us. He perfectly knows us and the details of our life. We can trust in His plan, and have faith to take the next step.
Moroni 7:33
And Christ hath said: If ye will have faith in me ye shall have power to do whatsoever thing is expedient in me.
My time here in Hungary was life changing. God worked many mighty miracles, and I had a front row seat. My faith is bigger than ever. I love Hungary so much. This was the best experience of my life.
GOD KNOWS YOU AND HE WANTS US TO BECOME BETTER.
I love the Hungarians, I love my mission, I love God.
Isten áldd meg a Magyart.
