OCTOBER 27, 2025 -- WEEK 79
Hi sweet friends
We had a crazy week!!
We went to my very last Zone Conference. We got to spend the night in Buda with one of my old comps, Sister Smith! The morning of, I also had my very last interview with Pres. which lowkey, was so sad. Anyways, the day was so happy though! I saw five of my old comps and lots of sweet friends. I love getting together with all of the other missionaries, it really is so special to see each other. It was so sad to say goodbye to everyone. It's crazy because I will never be here in Hungary with these same people ever again. Very bittersweet. I felt very loved.
English class is popping off here! We have AWESOME people coming! It's so sweet because we teach them English, and they teach us Hungarian! It's always a joy to have English class.
At Zone Conference, President gave us all a paper with 100 doctrinal mastery scriptures and challenged us to memorize them all. Sister Tab and I spent ALL day Thursday memorizing like crazy! We had to make up some songs to help us remember the scriptures references, BUT WE DID IT!! ALL 100 SCRIPTURES IN THE MIND!! I actually feel so proud of us! We know our scripture mastery! Someone quiz me because it's literally so fun!
We knocked a lot of houses this week, and a few people had actually met with missionaries a few years before! I enjoy knocking, but I swear I was jump scared about every five minutes by all the dogs! Lol! I like jump scares!
On Saturday, we were able to attend a baptism in Pécs. It was such a crazy moment because I actually served in Pécs and helped someone get baptized there too. So many memories were coming back. Seeing all the Pécs members is very happy. I was only there for six weeks, but they remember me which made me happy. Our friend we are teaching was able to come down with us. It was a special weekend.
Missionary work is so happy. I can't believe that I have been in Hungary for 16 months. Time files, but it also has been slow. Some weeks were harder than others, and some easier. I know that I have been blessed by the Lord. He is my friend. As I look back on my time here in Hungary, it just feels so sacred. I have actually given this all I have. I never worked harder at anything in my life. I put it all out there for my Savior. I can't believe it's coming to an end soon. There is a time and season for everything in life, isn't there.
I love this hymn.
I know that my Redeemer lives.
What comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives, he lives, who once was dead.
He lives, my ever-living Head.
He lives to bless me with his love.
He lives to plead for me above.
He lives my hungry soul to feed.
He lives to bless in time of need
My Redeemer lives. He cares and watched over us. He lives. I found Him in Hungary.
I love y'all very much
