SEPTEMBER 29, 2025 — WEEK 75
Hi everyone!
This week was just normal lowkey. We had an English Class Information Night, talked with a million people on the street, made lots of calls, and taught some lessons. We got to go back to Dunaújváros for an exchange. It was crazy to go back even though I only served there for about 2 weeks.
Time has been flying. It seems like it’s always Sunday. Im trying to make the most of the time that I have left. This week we got transfer news and I’m staying in Kaposvár with Sister Tab for my last transfer! Literally crazy that this is the last one.
Our Savior’s love is infinite. He died for us, so that we could return to our Heavenly Father. Taking the sacrament has become so significant to me over the course of my mission. It used to be so routine, and didn’t mean much to me, but as I have studied the gospel, and learned more about my Savior, it has become such a holy time. The spirit is so strong when we gather together, especially when we sing. I love singing with everyone at church. We sang this in church yesterday, and its one of my favorites.
In humility, our Savior,
Grant thy Spirit here, we pray,
As we bless the bread and water
In thy name this holy day.
Let me not forget, O Savior,
Thou didst bleed and die for me
When thy heart was stilled and broken
On the cross at Calvary
I play the piano here in Kaposvár and when I try to sing as I play, I mess up! I get to listen to everyone sing, and hearing the little kids sing, literally is the sweetest thing and makes me excited to have kids and teach them all the hymns. There's nothing more important in my life than what my parents taught me. They taught me about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Sometimes I didnt apply what i learned though. I was thinking back on my life, before I came to Hungary I have no idea what I was doing. I wasn't doing the things I needed to do regularly to have a strong relationship with my Heavenly Father. My life has become richer, and fuller since I have involved God and Jesus in it. I know my divine identity, I know why I am here on the earth, I know that God has a plan for me. Taking the Sacrament helps me realize how personal the gospel is. Jesus died for me, but He also lived to show me an example of how I should live. Oh how I love my Savior, my Redeemer, my Jesus.
You guys are great, I have the sweetest friends. I love yall very much.
