DECEMBER 9, 2024 --- WEEK 33: MY FIRST BAPTISM!

This week was special week! Our friend Judit got baptized! It was the sweetest baptism ever! She was just smiling the whole time! There's no baptismal fount in Pécs so we had to go the pool! When we walked in the chlorine hit me like a brick! Brought me back to my lifeguarding days. There was a waterpolo game going on behind the baptism so it was very loud! We definitely got some confused looks, but this will definitely go down in history as my favorite baptism I've ever been too!

Transfer calls were Saturday and I will be leaving Pécs. I'm going to be whitewashing for the 3RD TRANSFER IN A ROW in Nyíregyháza! I'm actually really excited! I'll be going there with Sister Telles!

The last Sunday before leaving a city is the worst. It's so crazy that I'm already leaving Pécs. We said bye to everyone and it literally was so sad. I took lots of pictures with everyone so I can always remember the sweet people I met in Pécs!

I have never felt more thankful in my whole life than now. At zone conference we were all eating lunch together and talking about why we are grateful and I just had a huge wave of gratefulness come over me. I am so blessed to be here with people I love. I have met some of my "bestest" friends here. I love the Hungarians, my fellow missionaries, and my Savior, Jesus Christ.

This week I would like to invite you all to see the cup half full. Look for the good things in life, because they are all around, you just need to look. When I look around, I see that my cup isn't full, it overflows.

I love you all very much!

I hope you all have a happy week and a happy Christmas time
