DECEMBER 23, 2024: Week 35: boldog karácsonyt🎄—

 Hi everyone!!

This week was jammed packed! We went to budapest for pday & mission conference it was so fun! We got to carol in front of the parliament building and that was so fun! Every year my family carols on Christmas Eve so it was fun to gave a little piece of home!

Mission conference was so good! I put a little small group together and we sang O Holy Night! Literally sounded so good! It was amazing to be with all my friends in Budapest! The Walls got us mission hoodies! And they always surprised us and had our email write is notes, and I had SO MANY! Shoutout to my family for remembering me and writing me sweet words of encouragement!

We had a really good finding opportunity! Telles and I were streeting and we met these nice women! They had a table and they were giving out books about jesus, and the bible! We talked with them and figured out they were 7th day adventists! They were very kind and invited us to their istentisztelet(church service). We said we would go because the have it on Saturdays! I invited them to our church too, and they said they would come. Saturday comes around and we head over to their church! We walk in AND ONE OF OUR GREEN DOTS IS THERE! Anyways, we see our sweet friends who invited us, we go sit down, and a lady comes over and asks for our names. They start the meeting, and they asked to stand up and tell them who we are! In front of the whole congregation I told everyone that we are missionaries Az Utolsó Napi Szentek Jézus Krisztus Egyházától! We shared our purpose as missionaires with them and I invited the WHOLE congregation to come to our Istentisztelet on Sunday! After, we shook all the leaders hands. We talked a little more about our church with them. I asked them if they have heard of the Book of Mormon, and they said "Of Course!". I bore my testimony of the Book of Mormon with 3 of the leaders and then proceeded to invite them to our church! It was such a cool missionary moment for me! Telles and I gave almost everyone who was there a card with the information for our church the next day!

I have felt a little sad this week being away from home for the holidays. Something my mom has reminded me of is that I am away from my family now, but we will be together for eternity. When I think I Christmas, I really don't think of the presents, I just think about my family and Jesus Christ. One if the best gifts I have been given is my family. Today I played the song, Families Can be Toegther Forever, and it just made me cry. I miss my family now, but by me being here, I am helping others be with theirs for eternity.

I would like to invite you to write down 3 ways that you can become more like Christ! He is the best present we have received! Whether you want to be more patience, or more loving, pick 3 things that you can work on! Jesus loves us! He died for us, but He also lived for us! He set the perfect example. He is the star in the sky and we should follow that star!

I love you all very much, I hope you have happiest Christmas!!

also I have been a missionary for 8 months yesterday, almost halfway done
