Sister Isabella Tracy -- Hungary Budapest Mission April 2024 - November 2025

Hi everyone!  Zone conference was this week and it was fun! The Jensen's drove us up to Győr!  Sister Birrell played the guitar and I sang Isten Gyermeke Vagyok (I Am A Children) for everyone! It was fun to see a little bit of a new city! Sister Jensen and I had sang the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on the way up! I love singing all the songs, it's so nostalgic for me! This past week in Szombathely there was a big festival! It was four days long and there were so many events! There was a parade and we watched it two nights in a row! The second night I got pictures with some of the people in the parade! It was so funny!! Everyone was dressed up like people from the Roman empire! Lots of togas and soldiers! During the parade everyone was yelling "Ave Savaria", so then I was yelling it too! We were with our sweet friend Dió and she was being so funny! Yelling and cheering! She reminds me of my sister Betsy! I love her! We went to Zalaegerszeg this week! ...

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing wonderfully!  My mom's birthday was Sunday! Happy birthday mother!!  This past week we were so busy! You really are doing things every second of the day as a missionary! I love it! In two days I will have been on my mission for FOUR months! Time is honestly really flying by!  Yesterday Sister Birrell and I were ringing into apartments and we got let in! We walked up to the top floor and knocked on the door that let us in! We heard a growl(idk what it was) and then we heard a grown man scream so loud and we ran down all the stairs so fast! I was actually so scared!  We met with a lot of members this week! Everyone is so kind to us. They always give us some food and it's always yummy. I really love everyone here, they make me feel so loved too.  Our P-day was moved to today because, today is a big holiday! Hungary became a country however many years ago today!   HI EVERYONE!! I'm sorry that there was no email last week!! I ran out of storage on my Google account so I couldn't send or receive any emails! But I am back! I had to delete a few things, but hey that is okay!!  Things are great here in Szombathely! I honestly, really love being a missionary, life is so simple. I love talking to Hungarians everyday! It is so fun! I understand more literally every week, and it's really exciting when I can get a full sentence of what someone said!(usually a short sentence, lol) I'm trying my best!!  I low-key can't remember what happened in the few weeks LOL!   We had lots of member visits! It's so fun! I honestly have never felt more loved by people other than my family in my whole life than being here in Hungary. The members here are SO kind and loving to me! They compliment me on my Hungarian (even though it's not very good yet, LOL) and just love me!  We had a concert last Saturday! I sang a few songs and played piano! ...

  Hi everyone!   This past week quite literally flew by! It's so hot here! My neck, arms, and face are so tan! I'm so excited for the cooler weather -- oh man!  Today we went to the Hivital which is a government building! I am getting my residency for Hungary! It took about an hour and thirty minutes! They took my picture and I smiled so big and they told me I wasn't allowed to smile!!! Like bro, come on, just let me smile! We had zone conference last Thursday in Budapest! The Jensen's drove us up and we got caught in traffic! Sister Jensen and I sang the whole soundtrack to Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! Everyone was asking me how I knew all the words and I just said -- you listen to it from when you are little every time you ride in the car to now!
