August 26, 2024 -- WEEK EIGHTEEN!

Hi everyone! 


Zone conference was this week and it was fun! The Jensen's drove us up to Győr!  Sister Birrell played the guitar and I sang Isten Gyermeke Vagyok (I Am A Children) for everyone! It was fun to see a little bit of a new city! Sister Jensen and I had sang the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on the way up! I love singing all the songs, it's so nostalgic for me!

This past week in Szombathely there was a big festival! It was four days long and there were so many events! There was a parade and we watched it two nights in a row! The second night I got pictures with some of the people in the parade! It was so funny!! Everyone was dressed up like people from the Roman empire! Lots of togas and soldiers! During the parade everyone was yelling "Ave Savaria", so then I was yelling it too! We were with our sweet friend Dió and she was being so funny! Yelling and cheering! She reminds me of my sister Betsy! I love her!

We went to Zalaegerszeg this week! We taught one of our friends who will be baptized! We were getting ready to get on the train back to Szombathely and it NEVER CAME! Sister Birrell and I were stressing out a little! We found a bus and walked thirty minutes to the bus stop just in time for us to get on! We were the last people on!

 


I was a duolingo QUEEN this week! I actually love duolingo! I think it's so fun! 




We talked to lots of people this week! The Fő-tér was filled with people so we tried to talk to so many people! 

I feel like I'm kinda living in a movie! I literally live in Hungary, like what?! A family visiting Szombathely asked us for directions around the town, and they were from Egypt! There's so many people from all over the world here! 

We spent lots of time with members this past week and it was great! I hope I get to stay here in Szombathely for another transfer (six weeks)! I love the members here and all of our friends. I don't know how you couldn't just love it here!

Today Sister Birrell shared the sweetest message with us about the Atonement. Jesus Christ atoned for ALL our sins and through Him, we can be forgiven. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is all about hope! Jesus Christ can make our lives so much brighter and happier! When we rely on Him for strength, He will lift us up and our burdens. --

And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage; and this will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions - Mosiah 24:14

-- Jesus Christ has paid for our sins, we are engraved upon His hands. He loves you so much that He died for you, and for me. The atonement is real. You can find healing through Jesus Christ. He is there for us when we are having hard times. He lifts us up!

Hi everyone! Happy Spring! It's getting so warm here!  We had transfers this last Wednesday. I am staying in Nyíregyháza and am companions with Sister Smith!  The first week of the transfer was good! We have been on the "finding grind"!  I feel very happy here in my city! The members are the sweetest and I just feel so loved! They all said they are going to throw me a birthday party this week! I can't believe I am going to be 20!! That's lowkey so old!  We went to Miskolc for p-day and met up with some other missionaries!  I have been seeing God's hand in my life so much lately. JUNE 16, 2025 -- WEEK SIXTY 🙀❤️‍🔥

Hello sweet friends!  Everyday was so long, and now finally the week is over! Hallelujah  We went to Székesfehérvár for an exchange and it high-key was so fun! I used to not really lime exchanges when I was younger in the mission, but now they are actually so fun! I was with Sister Hall!! SO FUN TO BE W THE SZÉKES SISTERS!!! I LOVE MY MISSION FRIENDS SO MUCH!!  I've low-key been sick all week but that doesn't stop the work no no! We set a goal to find four new people to teach, and we found eight! That's my miracle for the week!  A little spiritual thought ️ But that the world may know that I love the Father; and  as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do . John 14:31 I love this scripture. The world can know that I  LOVE  my Heavenly Father, and that I  WILL  follow Him and do the things we are commanded!  I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that  the Lord giveth no commandments unto the child...

JANUARY 27, 2025 — WEEK 40: NINE MONTHS A MISSIONARY

  was feeling so thankful that I got to stay because I have whitewashed Hi everyone!  Transfers were last week and I got to stay in my area with Sister Telles  I was feeling so thankful that I got to stay because I have whitewashed three transfers in a row!  This was a hard week for me. I hit my NINE months which is exciting! I literally cannot believe that I am halfway. I'm starting my 6th transfer, and after this I have six left so my time in Hungary is just about half done. There was nothing in particular that was the worst, just the little things throughout the week just sucked a little! But this next week will be better because I will make it better!  I cut Sis Telles bangs AND THEY LOOK SO GOOD!!  AND I ALSO GOT MY INTERNATIONALS DRIVERS  LICENSE!  I can finally drive!
