AUGUST 12, 2024 -- WEEK 16: HELLLLOOOO EVERYBODY

 HI EVERYONE!!


I'm sorry that there was no email last week!! I ran out of storage on my Google account so I couldn't send or receive any emails! But I am back! I had to delete a few things, but hey that is okay!! 

Things are great here in Szombathely! I honestly, really love being a missionary, life is so simple. I love talking to Hungarians everyday! It is so fun! I understand more literally every week, and it's really exciting when I can get a full sentence of what someone said!(usually a short sentence, lol) I'm trying my best!! 

I low-key can't remember what happened in the few weeks LOL!

 


We had lots of member visits! It's so fun! I honestly have never felt more loved by people other than my family in my whole life than being here in Hungary. The members here are SO kind and loving to me! They compliment me on my Hungarian (even though it's not very good yet, LOL) and just love me! 

We had a concert last Saturday! I sang a few songs and played piano! I played a song from my 7th grade piano concert, you could say I'm like Mozart or something awesome! SHOUTOUT to Miss Charla Yoder for being the best piano teacher!

I made so many snickerdoodles to share with everyone after the concert! SO GOOD! The Tóth's brought a FRUIT SALAD🍎🍐🍇! Bro -- the legfinomabb thing ever I swear. Fruit has never been consistently so good! Literally every apple I have eaten here has been awesome, you just don't get that back in the states! 

I'm extra focused on language this week! I'm going to be so awesome at Hungarian, just you guys wait!

As I have been learning Hungarian, and just how to be a missionary. I've had to practice lots of patience with myself. It's hard to wait for success and good things. I look back on when I entered into the MTC, and my first week in Hungary, and I have made SO much progress. I could not be a missionary or learn the language without the help of God.

And now I would that ye should be humble, and be submissive and gentle; easy to be entreated; full of patience and long-suffering; being temperate in all things; being diligent in keeping the commandments of God at all times; asking for whatsoever things ye stand in need, both spiritual and temporal; always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things ye do receive.


It truly is an honor to be called to preach the gospel to the Hungarian people. I love being a missionary, I love the Hungarians, I love Jesus Christ. Through Him. I can do all things. 

I love you all and hope you are all doing wonderfully! Keep me in your prayers, because you're in mine!

Hi everyone! Happy Spring! It's getting so warm here!  We had transfers this last Wednesday. I am staying in Nyíregyháza and am companions with Sister Smith!  The first week of the transfer was good! We have been on the "finding grind"!  I feel very happy here in my city! The members are the sweetest and I just feel so loved! They all said they are going to throw me a birthday party this week! JUNE 16, 2025 -- WEEK SIXTY 🙀❤️‍🔥

Hello sweet friends!  Everyday was so long, and now finally the week is over! Hallelujah  We went to Székesfehérvár for an exchange and it high-key was so fun! I used to not really lime exchanges when I was younger in the mission, but now they are actually so fun! I was with Sister Hall!! SO FUN TO BE W THE SZÉKES SISTERS!!! I LOVE MY MISSION FRIENDS SO MUCH!!  I've low-key been sick all week but that doesn't stop the work no no! We set a goal to find four new people to teach, and we found eight! That's my miracle for the week!  A little spiritual thought ️ But that the world may know that I love the Father; and  as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do . John 14:31 I love this scripture. JANUARY 27, 2025 — WEEK 40: NINE MONTHS A MISSIONARY

  was feeling so thankful that I got to stay because I have whitewashed Hi everyone!  Transfers were last week and I got to stay in my area with Sister Telles  I was feeling so thankful that I got to stay because I have whitewashed three transfers in a row!  This was a hard week for me. I hit my NINE months which is exciting! I literally cannot believe that I am halfway. I'm starting my 6th transfer, and after this I have six left so my time in Hungary is just about half done. There was nothing in particular that was the worst, just the little things throughout the week just sucked a little! But this next week will be better because I will make it better!  I cut Sis Telles bangs AND THEY LOOK SO GOOD!!  AND I ALSO GOT MY INTERNATIONALS DRIVERS  LICENSE!  I can finally drive!
