AUGUST 20, 2024 -- WEEK 17: FOUR MONTHS A MISSIONARY

Hi everyone!


I hope you are all doing wonderfully! 

My mom's birthday was Sunday! Happy birthday mother!! 

This past week we were so busy! You really are doing things every second of the day as a missionary! I love it! In two days I will have been on my mission for FOUR months! Time is honestly really flying by! 

Yesterday Sister Birrell and I were ringing into apartments and we got let in! We walked up to the top floor and knocked on the door that let us in! We heard a growl(idk what it was) and then we heard a grown man scream so loud and we ran down all the stairs so fast! I was actually so scared! 

We met with a lot of members this week! Everyone is so kind to us. They always give us some food and it's always yummy. I really love everyone here, they make me feel so loved too. 

Our P-day was moved to today because, today is a big holiday! Hungary became a country however many years ago today! We didn't really do anything to celebrate. Later this week, there is going to be a big festival here this weekend and we are so excited! 

P-day today was probably one of the funnest I've ever had! We had a district P-day and we played at a park! There was a swing that we all had SO much fun on! We walked through a water tower and that was fun too! I wanna say it was a museum thingy but I don't know! We climbed SO many stairs! My legs were actually so tired after. Lol it was so fun though! 

Sister Birrell has been singing, "The Lord is my Shepherd" lately and it reminds me of when we sang that for Ward Choir when my mom was the Choir Director. Songs just pop into my head that always bring me peace and a sweet reminder that God knows me and what I need!

"The Lord is my Shepherd; no want shall I know. I feed in green pastures; safe-folded I rest. He leadeth my soul where the still waters flow, Restores me when wand’ring, redeems when oppressed."

God is our loving Heavenly Father and we are his children! He helps me everyday. He blesses me with strength, knowledge, patience, and love for those around me. He helps me when I am having hard times. He really knows me and He knows you!

God is real, He is there, and He wants to hear from you! Promise me you'll pray tonight!!

Hi everyone! Happy Spring! It's getting so warm here!  We had transfers this last Wednesday. I am staying in Nyíregyháza and am companions with Sister Smith!  The first week of the transfer was good! We have been on the "finding grind"!  I feel very happy here in my city! The members are the sweetest and I just feel so loved! They all said they are going to throw me a birthday party this week! I can't believe I am going to be 20!! That's lowkey so old!  We went to Miskolc for p-day and met up with some other missionaries!  I have been seeing God's hand in my life so much lately. JUNE 16, 2025 -- WEEK SIXTY 🙀❤️‍🔥

Hello sweet friends!  Everyday was so long, and now finally the week is over! Hallelujah  We went to Székesfehérvár for an exchange and it high-key was so fun! I used to not really lime exchanges when I was younger in the mission, but now they are actually so fun! I was with Sister Hall!! SO FUN TO BE W THE SZÉKES SISTERS!!! I LOVE MY MISSION FRIENDS SO MUCH!!  I've low-key been sick all week but that doesn't stop the work no no! We set a goal to find four new people to teach, and we found eight! That's my miracle for the week!  A little spiritual thought ️ But that the world may know that I love the Father; and  as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do . John 14:31 I love this scripture. The world can know that I  LOVE  my Heavenly Father, and that I  WILL  follow Him and do the things we are commanded!  I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that  the Lord giveth no commandments unto the child...

JANUARY 27, 2025 — WEEK 40: NINE MONTHS A MISSIONARY

  was feeling so thankful that I got to stay because I have whitewashed Hi everyone!  Transfers were last week and I got to stay in my area with Sister Telles  I was feeling so thankful that I got to stay because I have whitewashed three transfers in a row!  This was a hard week for me. I hit my NINE months which is exciting! I literally cannot believe that I am halfway. I'm starting my 6th transfer, and after this I have six left so my time in Hungary is just about half done. There was nothing in particular that was the worst, just the little things throughout the week just sucked a little! But this next week will be better because I will make it better!  I cut Sis Telles bangs AND THEY LOOK SO GOOD!!  AND I ALSO GOT MY INTERNATIONALS DRIVERS  LICENSE!  I can finally drive!
