SEPTEMBER 8, 2025 -- WEEK 72: NEW BEGINNINGS

 Hi everyone!

I have had a crazy week!

We went to the Balaton last week for p-day! We played volleyball and walked around Siófok!

I got a call from President Tuesday night saying that I would get a new companion, and we would be pink-washing an area. Sister Tab had to go home for a little bit for medical reasons, but now she is back and my new companion! We moved to Kaposvár on Saturday. It's crazy because I just moved to Dunaújváros not even three weeks ago, and that I had to leave the little trio I was in mid-transfer. The week was just a lot of anticipation and waiting until Saturday.

My last few days with the trio was good! We talked with lots of people on the street, and gave some members some süti (treats). We really worked hard together, and gave it our best together. We had a few really good lessons! Our friend brought his friend with him and we are now teaching him and his friend! Dunaújváros was a quick era of my mission, but a good and happy one. Sisters Behunin and Pinson will be missed dearly by me.

We drove up to Budapest Saturday morning, I said bye to my girls, then Sister Tab and I made our way down to Kaposvár! A quick two hour drive. We made it, and it really is such a sweet little city. It will be good to be here. So much to learn and do.

We had our first Sunday yesterday! I played the piano and Sister Tab lead the music. All the members walked in and already knew our names, and were saying they were so thankful to have sisters back! It was sweet. As we were singing the hymns, the voices of the little kids were so sweet. It for real was going to make me cry. Its so sweet how we can learn in our youth about God and His Son, Jesus, and have such a strong testimony of them! It's a blessing to grow up going to Church and having righteous parents. We taught Sunday School and all was well.

The past few weeks a line from the hymn, Praise to the Man, has been coming to my mind.

"Sacrifice brings forth the blessings of heaven"

I have been thinking about this a lot in regards to our missionary work. What have I sacrificed? What more can I sacrifice? There's always a little more you can give. Sacrifice literally brings the blessings of heaven into our life. There's stories in the scriptures and in life about sacrificing/giving up things, and usually the last part of the story is that the person received more than they gave. I have definitely experienced that in my life and especially my mission. Sacrificing my time to be here and a representative of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has been a sacrifice. Its been hard to be away from family/friends, but I have been BLESSED from my missionary service. I have met beautiful people here in Hungary who I will love forever. I have learned a new language and sacrificed speaking English all the time! I have become smarter and a better person from being here! There's so many ways we can sacrifice, and through study of the scriptures and prayer, you can know what in your life you can give up in order to have a stronger relationship with your Heavenly Father.

I know that God sees our efforts in bringing about His purposes here on the earth. I know He will bless us as we come unto Him with a broken heart and contrite spirits, being ready to change our ways and become better through His son, Jesus Christ.

I love ALL of you dearly and hope you had a beautiful week!!
