July 14, 2026 -- WEEK 64
Hi everyone!
This week was a long week!
The weather was so strange. On Tuesday, everyone was wearing coats and hats! Lowkey so trippy because it's literally July.
Last Tuesday, we were cursed at, we got ice cream and they didn't clean the scoop thing out and I had an allergic reaction to some leftover drops of an ice cream with nuts in it, Sister Mauler fell up the stairs when we were running to the bus, and to end the day we got flipped off lol! One thing I have definitely learned on the mission is that there is opposition in all things, but we need to handle the opposition well!
This week I am thankful for the Book of Mormon. Sometimes we get asked on the street why we need the Book of Mormon if we already have the Bible!

So we believe that the Book of Mormon and the Bible work together! We need to Book of Mormon because it teaches of the FULLNESS of Jesus Christ's Gospel! Anyone could tell you it's true or not, but if you want to know, you need to find out for yourself. As a missionary, our main purpose is to invite. We invite people everyday to read the Book of Mormon, and to then pray about it. Any sincere seeker of truth can find it in the Book of Mormon. There's a promise from God at the end of the Book.
Moroni 10:4-5
4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things
I can tell you all day the book is true, but you could not know for yourself until you read it, and pray about it. I know when we read the Book of Mormon we come closer to Heavenly Father, and gain further knowledge that we could not receive from any other book. I know it's true because I have read it, thought about it's messages, prayed about it, and through the Holy Ghost, I have gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, and I know you can too!
