JANUARY 13, 2025 -- WEEK 38: NEW YEAR, NEW ME

Hi sweet friends, it has been awhile since I have sent a message!


I think I told y'all but I am now in Nyíregyháza with Telles Nővér!




Christmas was honestly so special. On Christmas Eve we got to go to Midnight Mass and it was cool! I fell asleep for a little of it. Ever since I started my mission, I have had such a good sleep schedule, and if I ever go to bed late it throws me off so bad! When we got home we got ready for bed, and then I remembered that we needed to put cookies out for Santa. This is going to sound so silly, but it just made me cry. I really was just feeling sad to be away from my family. 

We woke up AND SANTA CAME TO OUR HOUSE! We opened some gifts sent by our parents. MY FAMILY IS THE BEST! I got about like 30 cards from every single person! I felt just so loved then!  We had lunch with a sweet member! She gave us kocsonya (pig fat jello) and I just politely declined! I know I will never have the desire to eat that stuff! I called the family when I got home and I lowkey was feeling so sad. Sister Telles made us dinner and after we ran around Nyíregyháza and took fun pictures all around the Christmas Markets! Being away for Christmas was sad, but now I never have to miss another one ever again!

Finding has been a little slow lately but we are trying our best! SO MANY MIRACLES HERE THOUGH! They have been little, but the little things add up. 

I have been studying on diligence lately. Sister Telles and I fasted yesterday and we fasted so that God can help us know what we need to do differently to be better missionaries. God gives us direction and answers to our prayers when we are willing to act on those answers. 

"But if ye will turn to the Lord with full purpose of heart, and put your trust in him, and serve him with all diligence of mind, if ye do this, he will, according to his own will and pleasure, deliver you out of bondage" Mosiah 7:33

The Lord does not take away our challenges, but He paves us a smoother path for us to go on. I think diligence and faith go hand-in-hand. God knows what we are capable of doing, just we need to put some effort in, because the more we give God, the more He will give us. 

With diligence in mind, I have made SO many goals for this new year! AND I AM GOING TO COMPLETE EVERY ONE BECAUSE GOD IS GOING TO HELP ME! Things are going to be great, and this year will be better than any before!

Hi everyone! Happy Spring! It's getting so warm here!  We had transfers this last Wednesday. I am staying in Nyíregyháza and am companions with Sister Smith!  The first week of the transfer was good! We have been on the "finding grind"!  I feel very happy here in my city! The members are the sweetest and I just feel so loved! They all said they are going to throw me a birthday party this week! JUNE 16, 2025 -- WEEK SIXTY 🙀❤️‍🔥

Hello sweet friends!  Everyday was so long, and now finally the week is over! Hallelujah  We went to Székesfehérvár for an exchange and it high-key was so fun! I used to not really lime exchanges when I was younger in the mission, but now they are actually so fun! I was with Sister Hall!! SO FUN TO BE W THE SZÉKES SISTERS!!! I LOVE MY MISSION FRIENDS SO MUCH!!  I've low-key been sick all week but that doesn't stop the work no no! We set a goal to find four new people to teach, and we found eight! That's my miracle for the week!  A little spiritual thought ️ But that the world may know that I love the Father; and  as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do . John 14:31 I love this scripture. The world can know that I  LOVE  my Heavenly Father, and that I  WILL  follow Him and do the things we are commanded!  I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that  the Lord giveth no commandments unto the child...

JANUARY 27, 2025 — WEEK 40: NINE MONTHS A MISSIONARY

  was feeling so thankful that I got to stay because I have whitewashed Hi everyone!  Transfers were last week and I got to stay in my area with Sister Telles  I was feeling so thankful that I got to stay because I have whitewashed three transfers in a row!  This was a hard week for me. I hit my NINE months which is exciting! I literally cannot believe that I am halfway. I'm starting my 6th transfer, and after this I have six left so my time in Hungary is just about half done. There was nothing in particular that was the worst, just the little things throughout the week just sucked a little! But this next week will be better because I will make it better!  I cut Sis Telles bangs AND THEY LOOK SO GOOD!!  AND I ALSO GOT MY INTERNATIONALS DRIVERS  LICENSE!  I can finally drive!
