OCTOBER 21, 2024: WEEK 26: SIX MONTHS A MISSIONARY

Hi everyone!

We started the week off with an exchange in Dunaújváros with Berente and Pearl! Sister Pearl made the best dinner I've had in a long time. SO GOOD. She also taught me so much Hungarian! We rode the train back to Kispest! I haven’t taken the train since I was in Szombathely! It was fun! 




Wednesday was zone conference! Sister Summers and Hansen and I got to sing our song that we sang at the MTC for everyone! I love singing with them! ALSO zone conference was so good! We talked a lot about the Book of Mormon! Best zone conference I've had so far!

After we went to teach our friends, Ágnes and István! They are a cute couple! 

Friday we had a crazy streeting day! We did all our studies and then headed out! Sister Mehrley and I made so many fun goals that day! Some of them were 
 ☆make 3 Hungarians laugh 
 ☆sing to someone 
 ☆spin before talking to someone 
 ☆share the 1st vision 4 times 
 ☆get 5 facebooks 

 Having goals made the day SO FUN! We laughed literally so much! 

We also decided to stop every 30 minutes and read 10 verses out of the Book of Mormon and then say a prayer and ask where we should go. 

GOD BLESSES YOU WHEN YOU SHOW HIM YOU ARE WILLING TO DO HIS WILL! 

As Mehrley and I focused on the scriptures and God we found success! We met 2 really kind ladies! Hopefully we will be able to teach and if not, we planted good seeds! 

We met so many people from America this week! Yesterday in church we met some people, and some of them know my brother in law! They said they were from New Orleans, so I asked if they knew the Conlins, and they said "The Conlins?! Of course we know them!!" The world is SO small!! 

Today we met up with the Érd sisters at St István bazilika. I saw a man wearing a BYU sweatshirt and hat so I ran up to him and said, "Goooooooo Cougars!!" We talked to him and his wife, then they took us to lunch!! We walked into the restaurant and met so many other members from Utah! It was so fun to sit and talk with everyone! It feels like a piece of home is here in Hungary when people come and visit! I love being out and about and seeing people who believe the same as us! 

Today was literally amazing. I am excited for this week! The last week of the transfer! This one really flew by. I am excited to see what Heavenly Father has in store for me and the work here in Hungary! I am so lucky to be a missionary and have a front row seat to the most important work to the world!! Tomorrow is my SIXTH month of being a missionary! 

As a missionary, my purpose is to help people come closer to Christ! We do this by meeting with people and teaching them about Jesus Christ’s true church here on the earth — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I know the church is TRUE!! As I have shared what I know to be true with others, it has deepened my testimony of Jesus Christ, and that He really did die for me. I know He loves me, and everyone. 

Mosiah 14:5 
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 

Jesus died for us, and it's because He loves us. Through Him, we can be healed of anything. Turn to Christ! Focus on Him! I know that He is real and really lived and died for us. I love him!

Hi everyone! Happy Spring! It's getting so warm here!  We had transfers this last Wednesday. I am staying in Nyíregyháza and am companions with Sister Smith!  The first week of the transfer was good! We have been on the "finding grind"!  I feel very happy here in my city! The members are the sweetest and I just feel so loved! They all said they are going to throw me a birthday party this week! JUNE 16, 2025 -- WEEK SIXTY 🙀❤️‍🔥

Hello sweet friends!  Everyday was so long, and now finally the week is over! Hallelujah  We went to Székesfehérvár for an exchange and it high-key was so fun! I used to not really lime exchanges when I was younger in the mission, but now they are actually so fun! I was with Sister Hall!! SO FUN TO BE W THE SZÉKES SISTERS!!! I LOVE MY MISSION FRIENDS SO MUCH!!  I've low-key been sick all week but that doesn't stop the work no no! We set a goal to find four new people to teach, and we found eight! That's my miracle for the week!  A little spiritual thought ️ But that the world may know that I love the Father; and  as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do . John 14:31 I love this scripture. The world can know that I  LOVE  my Heavenly Father, and that I  WILL  follow Him and do the things we are commanded!  I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that  the Lord giveth no commandments unto the child...

JANUARY 27, 2025 — WEEK 40: NINE MONTHS A MISSIONARY

  was feeling so thankful that I got to stay because I have whitewashed Hi everyone!  Transfers were last week and I got to stay in my area with Sister Telles  I was feeling so thankful that I got to stay because I have whitewashed three transfers in a row!  This was a hard week for me. I hit my NINE months which is exciting! I literally cannot believe that I am halfway. I'm starting my 6th transfer, and after this I have six left so my time in Hungary is just about half done. There was nothing in particular that was the worst, just the little things throughout the week just sucked a little! But this next week will be better because I will make it better!  I cut Sis Telles bangs AND THEY LOOK SO GOOD!!  AND I ALSO GOT MY INTERNATIONALS DRIVERS  LICENSE!  I can finally drive!
