SEPTEMBER 9, 2024 -- WEEK TWENTY!

Hi everyone! I hope y'all had a great week!! 


This week was so crazy!! I know I say this every week, but our week was SO BUSY! 

Wednesday we visited some branch members who live about an hour and a half away from Szombathely! It's fun going out to the falus! 

We had a concert in Pápa on Thursday and it went well! Before the concert, we had an appointment with a lady we met knocking named Erika. She gave us a house tour! She has a really big and nice house! She is old and lives by herself. She showed us all of her kids room and around her house. She is very kind! We headed to Pápa and listened to some good music that reminded me of my parents! We got lunch together then went to the branch house! The concert went well! A good amount of people came! After we ate cookies and treats! 

Saturday was also crazy! We had a branch activity in Köszeg! We met at the branch house and then all drove up to a little park! We played cornhole and taught everyone how to play (shout out to the elders who could explain cornhole in Hungarian)! I lowkey was doing so good! I never really played cornhole back in the states! All the members were getting really into it! 

All of us missionaries here in Szombathely got shirts from the branch members! They are literally so adorable! I love it here so much, I'm actually so sad that transfers are coming up. We all sang "Isten veled, míg újra látlak"(God be with you till we meet again) for the Jensen's because they are leaving next week. 😭😭😭😭 They really have made my transition to missionary life so much easier. They are like my parents who aren't really my parents. I love them!! 

Earlier in the week we had an exchange! I went with Serr Nővér! She's so smart guys, omg and cracked at Hungarian! 

Sunday was really sweet yesterday! As all the branch members walked it, I took a selfie with almost everyone! Szombathely is really special to me! I love all the people here so much. After church we visited Dió! She is so kind! She gave us watermelon and a peppa pig popsicle to me! 

This upcoming week is going to be crazy too! We have so many member visits planned! We do not know who will be staying here in Szombathely, Sister Birrell or I, so we want to see everyone one last time! 

P-day was good today! It was raining so much here! It was also cold today! I'm excited for the cooler weather! We got McDonald's then played games at the branch house! I love chill p-days the most! 

We've been talking a lot about patience lately. Sometimes when I think of patience I think of being patient with other people, but we need to be patient with ourselves. That's been hard for me lately because I want things now! I know I am capable of doing so many things, it's just hard to not be at the place you want to be at. 

27 Now when our hearts were depressed, and we were about to turn back, behold, the Lord comforted us, and said: Go amongst thy brethren, the Lamanites, and bear with patience thine afflictions, and I will give unto you success - Alma 26:27

Life is so hard, but we don't go through it by ourselves. The Lord is always there to help and lift us up! It's so easy to get down on ourselves, but He sees the efforts we make to become better. We need to trust in the Lords timing, and that He will give us what we need, when we need it. Be patient!!

Hi everyone! Happy Spring! It's getting so warm here!  We had transfers this last Wednesday. I am staying in Nyíregyháza and am companions with Sister Smith!  The first week of the transfer was good! We have been on the "finding grind"!  I feel very happy here in my city! The members are the sweetest and I just feel so loved! They all said they are going to throw me a birthday party this week! JUNE 16, 2025 -- WEEK SIXTY 🙀❤️‍🔥

Hello sweet friends!  Everyday was so long, and now finally the week is over! Hallelujah  We went to Székesfehérvár for an exchange and it high-key was so fun! I used to not really lime exchanges when I was younger in the mission, but now they are actually so fun! I was with Sister Hall!! SO FUN TO BE W THE SZÉKES SISTERS!!! I LOVE MY MISSION FRIENDS SO MUCH!!  I've low-key been sick all week but that doesn't stop the work no no! We set a goal to find four new people to teach, and we found eight! That's my miracle for the week!  A little spiritual thought ️ But that the world may know that I love the Father; and  as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do . John 14:31 I love this scripture. The world can know that I  LOVE  my Heavenly Father, and that I  WILL  follow Him and do the things we are commanded!  I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that  the Lord giveth no commandments unto the child...

JANUARY 27, 2025 — WEEK 40: NINE MONTHS A MISSIONARY

  was feeling so thankful that I got to stay because I have whitewashed Hi everyone!  Transfers were last week and I got to stay in my area with Sister Telles  I was feeling so thankful that I got to stay because I have whitewashed three transfers in a row!  This was a hard week for me. I hit my NINE months which is exciting! I literally cannot believe that I am halfway. I'm starting my 6th transfer, and after this I have six left so my time in Hungary is just about half done. There was nothing in particular that was the worst, just the little things throughout the week just sucked a little! But this next week will be better because I will make it better!  I cut Sis Telles bangs AND THEY LOOK SO GOOD!!  AND I ALSO GOT MY INTERNATIONALS DRIVERS  LICENSE!  I can finally drive!
