MAY 8, 2024 -- WEEK THREE: Social Butterfly 🦋
Szia!!!!
I've finally completed my first week of the in-person MTC! I love it here! Lots of funny things have happened this week, but sometimes it's hard to remember what went on last week! There's so many things that we do everyday! The days feel like they go by so quickly, which I am not mad about, lol!
Today, my district and I got the opportunity to go to the Payson Temple! We got on a shuttle provided by the MTC, rode down to Payson, did baptisms and initiatories, then made our way back to Provo. On the way back, I was falling asleep and I could feel my head falling forward. I was lowkey so tired.
This past week for our exercise time, we went to the gym and played basketball, volleyball, spikeball, etc. I got a group of elders and sisters together and we played knockout! As many of you know, I am a pro knockout player! I won like THREE times and it felt so good! Elder Vitali is from Italy and he says that everyone in America is so good at basketball! He also told me that I am like a girl version of Stephen Curry! It was silly and made me laugh!
I love meeting people at the MTC! I've only been here for a week, but I feel like I already know everyone!
Some people in my district pointed out that I always know someone somewhere! And what I mean by that is when I talk to someone new and they tell me where they will be serving/where they are from, I always know someone who is from/lives there or someone who went there on their mission!
To my sister Susie, I have met tons of people going to the Atlanta Georgia Mission and I told them them look out for you!
Tomorrow is the last day that my teachers will be teaching from Preach My Gospel. On Friday, we start Hungarian for real! I think they will only be speaking to us in Hungarian too, but I could be wrong. I am a little nervous but I know I can do anything through Christ!
One example of Christ-like love is my mother! She is always sending me messages and letters and it makes me feel so loved and remembered. Being a missionary can be hard sometimes, but I know there is always someone out there rooting for me, and that's my sweet mom! MOM I LOVE YOU!!!!
Who is someone in your life that is a good example of Christ to you? I'd love to hear what you guys would say!
I love you all and hope you have a fabulous week!
