SEPTEMBER 22, 2025 -- WEEK 74: WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD

Image
Hi everyone!  We had a beautiful week! We had an exchange with the Dunaújváros sisters, and went to Budapest for a nation wide Women's Conference! It was so awesome! I got to see all the women from all of the cities I have served in! It was sweet to see the people from Szombathely. I served in Szombathely when I was a greenie (brand new missionary). I didn't understand Hungarian back then. Talking with the women and understanding them was such a fulfilling moment. It was so full circle. I have grown so much as I have been here in Hungary, and I am so thankful for everyone who has loved me and treated me as their own. I love the Hungarians.  Today marks my 17th month of missionary service! This is the best decision I have ever made in my life. I love being a missionary. Nothing has brought me more joy ever.  Sister Tab and I have been memorizing scriptures like crazy! When we are walking, we are memorizing; and when we aren't streeting someone, we are memorizing. This...

SEPTEMBER 15, 2025 -- WEEK 73: GOD OF MIRACLES

Image
Hello sweet friends! I hope everyone had the greatest week ever!  We had a good week here in Kaposvár! We found 14 people which is actually so crazy! I've seen God's hand in everyday that I have been here. God really does guide us to people, and He also guides them to us! It's cool to experience.  We have been looking for people to come to our English class, and when we were walking home, a lady came and stopped us and asked if we would have an English class that she and her friends could go to! They used to attend the old class a few months ago, but it was stopped. It was just a cool little experience.  Sister Tab and I have been working well together. We both are so tired by the end of the day. That's a good sign!  We had Zone Conference and it was so good to see all my missionary friends, especially Sister Hansen, my best friend ever. It was a very spiritual conference, we talked a lot about the Book of Mormon, and becoming 1% better. 10/10 would do again.  T...

SEPTEMBER 8, 2025 -- WEEK 72: NEW BEGINNINGS

Image
Hi everyone!  I have had a crazy week!  We went to the Balaton last week for p-day! We played volleyball and walked around Siófok!  I got a call from President Tuesday night saying that I would get a new companion, and we would be pink-washing an area. Sister Tab had to go home for a little bit for medical reasons, but now she is back and my new companion! We moved to Kaposvár on Saturday. It's crazy because I just moved to Dunaújváros not even three weeks ago, and that I had to leave the little trio I was in mid-transfer. The week was just a lot of anticipation and waiting until Saturday.  My last few days with the trio was good! We talked with lots of people on the street, and gave some members some süti (treats). We really worked hard together, and gave it our best together. We had a few really good lessons! Our friend brought his friend with him and we are now teaching him and his friend! Dunaújváros was a quick era of my mission, but a good and happy one....

AUGUST 25, 2025 -- DunaBULIváros

Hi everyone!  I'm doing good! I just got changed to a new city -- Dunaújváros! I am in a trio with Sister Behunin and Sister Pinson! I've never been in a trio before, and we are making things work!  I said bye to my little greenie, Sister Mauler and moved out of Veszprém. Sad day.  We went to my old area Pécs and it was like SEVEN hours of travel   lol  I'm feeling good and happy! The work is working. God is good.  I love y'all!

AUGUST 11, 2025 -- Week 68: 🏰

What's up squad We had a good week over here! We found a lot, and had some little sweet things happen.  We had a branch party on Saturday and it was literally fire! All the members brought food and snacks! They also got an ice cream machine! Lowkey such a good idea! It was fun to be there with everyone, and to have friends there with us too!  I'm pumped for this next week! We have something planned everyday which is relieving. Transfer calls are this Saturday, so we will see if I stay in Veszprém for one more, or if I leave. Only two more transfers left!  2 Nephi 25:26 And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins. Jesus Christ is the reason there is joy. Through Him we can receive forgiveness of the things we done wrong. We can also receive comfort when the consequences of someone else's actions ...

AUGUST 4, 2025 — Week 67: looking for the good

Image
Hi everyone! Happy August! We had a good week over here!  I’m doing good over here! Time is flying by and it's exciting but also kinda stressful! As of today, I officially have 100 days left which is crazy. A goal I have with one of my best friends, Sister Hansen, is to read the whole Book of Mormon in these last 100 days! It will be a piece of cake!  Zone Conference was good! We got the clean sheep award for a clean apartment! 💪💪 it's always good to see my sweet missionary friends. We got a new drying rack, vacuum, and I got a package from home.  Sometimes weeks are long and hard, but we get hard times to become better! Life is so simple and we can find little things that God has given us when we look for them!  When upon life’s billows you are tempest-tossed,  When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,  Count your many blessings; name them one by one,  And it will surprise you what the LORD has done.  It's so true that when we look...

JULY 21, 2025 -- Week 65: MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE UNTO THE LORD ALL YE LANDS

Image
Hi sweet friends!  I hope everyone had an awesome week!  We talked with so many people on the street. Sometimes it is easy to get down when we don't find people, or when people aren't the kindest. Despite those things, we got out everyday, put our faith in God, and tried to talk with everyone! I know that no effort of mine is wasted, and that there is a plan to every day. Every new day is proof of how much our Heavenly Father loves us.  Yesterday in Church, Olivér taught about gratitude and asked us for things that have made us thankful. I am thankful for the opportunity to talk with everyone about Jesus Christ! I'm thankful for the people who reject us, and that are rude to us! I'm thankful that God is mindful of me!  A few years ago, my nephew William memorized all of Psalm 100 and it's been a classic in my family ever since. With all the talk of gratitude and finding the good and the bad, I thought this was fitting.  Psalm 100 A Psalm of praise.  1 Make ...
